Industrial Incident Response and Monitoring

SEC 115 Industrial Incident Response and Monitoring is a foundational course for technicians focused on securing critical infrastructure and industrial control systems. This course delves into the principles of effective OT monitoring, introducing various techniques and tools for maintaining situational awareness within plant environments. A core component of the curriculum involves a detailed exploration of IEC 62443 cybersecurity standards, translating theoretical frameworks into practical application for industrial settings. Students will develop robust incident response capabilities, learning how to prepare for, detect, analyze, contain, eradicate, and recover from cybersecurity incidents. Through a blend of theoretical instruction and hands-on exercises, participants will gain the expertise necessary to protect industrial operations from evolving cyber threats and minimize operational disruptions.
